What is the purpose of the World Blockchain Festival?
The event is regarded as one of El Salvador’s most important blockchain events. The World Blockchain Festival will include seminars, a shark tank, and a beach club in addition to conferences and educational programs. Additional areas dedicated to gaming, NFT, and the metaverse will be available, according to the event’s organizers.
The inaugural WBF will provide attendees with immersive metaverse experiences. Several seminars on the most important business themes will be held, as well as NFT auctions and a hackathon.
El Salvador’s strong support for Bitcoin:
Since El Salvador announced its plan to make Bitcoin legal tender, the world has turned. Only a few nations grasped cryptocurrency’s true potential, while the others wished it would go away.
Despite the IMF’s proposal to ban Bitcoin as a legal tender, Nayib Bukele has stuck to his guns. So far, the country has amassed 1,801 Bitcoins. El Salvador plans to issue a Bitcoin bond as well.
Despite certain cracks and flaws in the country’s crypto revolution, El Salvador will continue at the forefront, with global adoption on the horizon.
What comes next?
The festival will bring together prominent bitcoin players to exchange ideas and share their opinions. Attendees may immerse themselves in the world of bitcoin and learn more about the Blockchain industry’s prospects at the interactive event.
