The cryptocurrency exchange debuted an AI user assistant to provide customers with industry data including real-time token values, projects, and historical occurrences.
Artificial intelligence (AI) continues to pervade businesses throughout the world. Crypto.com, the newest crypto industry adoptive, has announced the launch of their new generative AI user assistant.
“Amy” was revealed on May 2 by Crypto.com. The new AI companion for the crypto exchange is designed to educate customers about the business, including real-time token pricing and projects, historical events, and more. Amy, which utilizes ChatGPT as its foundation, is now in the pilot phase to “gather learnings” before future development, according to the statement.
According to Abhi Bisarya, executive vice president of product at Crypto.com, the business is bullish on the use of AI in cryptocurrency. As with other businesses and sectors, we see enormous potential and opportunity in the convergence of AI with the crypto industry, specifically our platform.
A Crypto.com spokeswoman said that, while generative AI is still in its early stages, it has the potential for “massive positive implications” for various businesses if used appropriately. This is especially true for cryptocurrency when it comes to educating people about the underlying technology and financial services in general.
Concerning the drawbacks, the spokesperson stated that the AI pilot will generate a lot of feedback, which will be incorporated into future upgrades.
By incorporating the AI function into its platform, Crypto.com joins the ranks of other cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets in the area. OKX exchange recently unveiled an artificial intelligence (AI) system to capture cryptocurrency market volatility.
On April 26, Solana Labs, a Web3 infrastructure firm, released its own ChatGPT-based plugin that utilizes AI to acquire blockchain data to check wallet balances, transfer tokens, and purchase non fungible tokens.
Binance also introduced an AI chatbot. The Binance chatbot, like Crypto.com, emphasizes user education as part of its Web3 academy.
Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange and digital asset trading platform, recently contributed $10 million towards the development of the Fetch.ai ecosystem, including marketing advice and other services to assist Fetch in expanding its business network.
